Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the  insertion of thin needles into points on the body which promote circulation and stimulate the body's own healing mechanisms.

Acupuncture is used to address a wide range of conditions and symptoms.  Hilary uses specialized acupuncture techniques for pain (dry needling and motor point therapy) and in her facial rejuvenation protocol.

Cupping and Gua Sha

Cupping is a modality that uses suction  cups to break up stagnation and increase blood flow to muscles and surrounding tissues.  Gua Sha uses stone or ceramic tools to achieve a similar goal. Specialized cups and gus sha tools are used as part of the facial rejuvenation protocol.

Herbal Medicine

Herbal medicine is an essential part of the rich tradition of Chinese medicine.  There are many ways to use the herbs; internally as a tea, pill, or pellet, externally as liniments or soaks.

Hilary has a curated set of pre-formulated herbal products and also creates customized granular formulas for her patients.  Go to the apothecary to see some of the options.

AcuPatching™

AcuPatching uses light therapy patches to stimulate acupuncture points.  It is a great non-needle alternative to acupuncture, and is a safe and gentle treatment option for kids!
